Join a CEO-Pod today and network with a peer group of other CEO’s who are grappling with similar issues. A CEO-Pod is a peer-based leadership and networking group for CEOs focused on:
1) Developing your own leadership style through individual coaching, assessments and 360-degree feedback
2) Value of asking help from your peers and networking with other leaders
3) Expert advice and training on topics including innovating and leading in the global economy, hiring the right people for the right roles, bringing out creativity in your organizations and adaptive leadership to manage uncertain times

We believe that our Pod experience and our approach are unique and differentiated in 3 primary ways:

Our CEO-Pods are launching this year. Each CEO-Pod is limited to a small group of executives in order to facilitate a confidential and intimate learning environment. Participation is by special invitation and application only. All applicants will be interviewed to ensure the right mix of CEOs to maximize learning for the entire group. - 1 full-day of peer-based problem solving and learning per month
- Real-time team-based learning and development including self-assessments and 360-degree feedback
- Expert speakers at least once every other month on topics including creativity and innovation, how to integrate diversity including cultural diversity, CEO succession and transition, bringing out the best in your team.
- Two 1:1 executive coaching sessions per month

What is the value of the CEO-Pods?
To provide a safe, confidential peer-to-peer learning environment and networking opportunity for senior executives. Topics addressed include the most pressing issues facing executives today and are tailored to the group of executives in each group.
Who will be part of the CEO-Pods? Will my competitors be there?
Each group is made up of executives with similar roles and responsibilities within their organizations. The groups are designed to be diverse in background, industry and experience to create the richest discussions and opportunity to learn from each other. Direct competitors will not be placed in the same Pod to maintain confidentiality and privacy.
Are the Pods industry and geography-specific?
The Pods are not industry-specific but they will be held in the same region to facilitate local relationship building. The value of the diversity in industry is to provide cross-industry learning and broadening of professional networks.
If I join a CEO-Pod , what is my commitment?
As a member, you will be required to attend and be an active participant in the monthly discussions. Each member will be expected to present an overview of their company, financials, strategic plan and critical issues. Each member will also participate in gathering data and providing feedback to other members of the group. You will be expected to maintain strict confidentiality regarding the content of the discussions as well as be committed to being open, honest and willing to learn to get the most out of the experience. We ask members to commit to at least 6 months and recommend at least 12 months to get the maximum benefit from the Pods.
What is The Awaken Group’s role in these CEO-Pods?
The majority of the learning will come from the participants in each Pod. The Awaken Group will provide expertise on topics such as innovation to lead globally, hiring the right person for the right role, integrating diversity, and CEO succession and legacy. The Awaken Group will also provide frameworks and training, as appropriate, to facilitate the discussions.
What types of Pods are there?
Currently, the Pods are targeted to the C-suite of executives: CEO, CFO, CSO, COO, and CIO.
What if I need more individual customized solutions?
Based on your needs, The Awaken Group provides additional consulting and coaching services and will work with you to customize a solution with clear objectives and goals so that you can measure progress.
What are the exact dates and locations for the upcoming sessions?
The exact meeting dates and locations will be finalized by each Pod to best meet the needs of the group but are generally held on the 2nd Friday of every month for the face-to-face meetings. Each month, one member of the Pod will host the group’s lunch and may host the location as well.
How can I get the Pods in my region?
Great question! While we are kicking off in Southern California, if you are interested, please fill out an application indicating your interests. Based on demand, we plan to launch in several regions.
How can I get involved as a facilitator for a CEO-Pod?
Given the intense nature of the leadership training, development and coaching we have embedded into this program, we will be drawing from our internal team of consultants and coaches who have been through a rigorous interview and assessment process. Our highly qualified facilitators are skilled in BOTH business strategy and leadership development and coaching.
